Refund Policy

Our Approach to Refunds

We aim to be fair and transparent. If something doesn't go as planned, we want to make it right. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which you may be eligible for a refund, credit, or makeup lesson.

Single Lessons

Once a single lesson is booked and payment is processed, it is generally non-refundable. However, you may receive a full refund or credit if:

Refund requests for single lessons must be made within 48 hours of the scheduled lesson time by contacting us at [email protected].

Monthly Subscription Plans

Our monthly plan offers the best value and is billed on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time with 30 days' written notice. Upon cancellation, you will receive a prorated refund for any remaining lessons in the current billing cycle that have not been attended or scheduled.

Example: If your billing date is the 1st of the month and you cancel on the 10th, you will be refunded for the lessons that fall after the 10th, minus any lessons already taken. No refunds are issued for lessons already attended.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. They are, however, fully transferable to another student or family member. Gift certificates expire 12 months from the date of purchase, and any unredeemed balance after expiration will not be refunded or extended.

Workshops & Events

Registration fees for workshops or special events are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Melody Studio. If you are unable to attend a workshop, you may transfer your registration to another person by notifying us at least 48 hours in advance.

How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund, please send an email to [email protected] with your full name, the date of the lesson, and the reason for the request. Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business days.

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days and will be issued to the original payment method.

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that serious illness, family emergencies, or relocation can affect your ability to continue lessons. In such cases, we may offer partial refunds, credits, or flexible rescheduling at our discretion, even if the standard refund window has passed. Please contact us to discuss your situation.
